We are glass manufacturing technology consultants with extensive expertise and experience in all facets of glass technology, from raw materials in the furnace to glass tubing formation, annealing, tempering, cutting, ends forming, washing/cleaning, insulating, coating and packaging since 1980.


Here are a few examples among the numerous problems that we have solved to date:

  • Improved significantly the surface cleanliness of severely weathered glass test tubes by optimizing the washing and rinsing manufacturing operations. It resulted in the complete elimination of chronic customer complaints and simultaneously improved product performance of coated blood collection test tube product.
  • Reduced significantly glass breakage during manufacture, product shipment and use by first optimizing the chemical composition of the glass formulation and then its annealing and tempering operations.
  • Improved the performance of a number of proprietary coatings by optimizing the coatings' thickness and its uniformity.
  • Developed computer program that cuts a large rectangular piece of glass into desirable widths and lengths with minimal waste.
  • Developed computer program that optimizes the placement of rectangular and other odd shapes of glass windows onto the conveyor of the glass insulating manufacturing process.
  • Identified and implemented innovative carrier design so that the processed insulated glass does not shift or move at all while on the conveyor belt. It reduced significantly the in process glass breakage and improved both operational yield and quality.
