Technology consultants with impressive accomplishments since 1980. We
have been involved in the development and manufacture of products and
processes that required the in-process use of microquantities of various expensive,
very difficult to handle viscous, thixotropic fluids, dry and suspended
powders, gels and surfactants.
We have developed and
integrated processes into manufacturing which included fumed silica,
heparin, EDTA, toothpaste like gels, high viscosity greases and chemical
compounding for rubber formulations.
Tupically encountered
problems include: inaccurate dispensing of fluid volume due to entrapped
air or gas bubbles in the dispension mechanism; non-homogeneity of
materials in a mixture due to poor mixing, wrong chemical composition, poor
dispersion of powders and other solids; clogging of the spray or dispensing
nozzle of the equipment due to caking, crystalization or other system/fluid
limitations; incorrect atomization of fluid; reduced self-life of fluid
mixture; pump cavitation; phase separation of components of a non-chemical
bonded mixture; poor rehydration, dissolution and solubility of lyophilized
materials due to incorrect chemical composition of powder, binders,
surfactants and/or freezing and drying cycles;etc.
